The HOSPITALIZATIONS module coordinates scheduled and unscheduled hospitalizations. It plans beds by allocating them to minimize unwanted stays and maximize occupancy rates. Coupled with the EMERGENCIES and JOURNEY modules, it makes the patient’s pathway more fluid by limiting the need for coordination.

Upcoming pre-admissions are generated from the emergency department flow and are integrated into the scheduled admissions flow. The darker the color, the more imminent the patient's arrival.

Current or completed hospitalizations are directly accessible, filterable, differentiated by gender (color). The length of each block is defined by the predicted length of stay, with a gradient indicating the uncertainty rate.

Prerequisites

HOSPITALIZATIONS requires the DATA SOCKET module. Some functionalities are only available when the EMERGENCIES and/or JOURNEY and/or COCKPIT modules are activated.

24 months of data history are required for optimal operation.
