Operate and anticipate
Thanks to the analysis provided by the Key Business Indicators (or KBI) and the Key Performance Indicators (or KPI), it becomes easy to operate them and to understand in a relevant and reliable way the reality of the company’s business.
However all this information would be of little use if it were not properly operated. Moreover, operate is no longer enough, anticipate changes is also required and in that frame mathematics are taking over.
Inject & Operate
Having the right information makes all the difference in making quick decisions, in detecting early signs of change or in understanding the effects of taken actions. Of course it is more relevant to have this information at the right time.
That is why (notwithstanding the dashboards) it is crucial to be able to inject this value-added information into the operational chain in order to be able to fully harness it.
To make it happen, our experts use all their know-how (and a little technology) to integrate the information reported by the indicators (KPI or KPI) into the company’s operational chain tools (such as CRM, ERP, dedicated databases or any other specialised tool).
Correctly integrated indicators are enabling all employees to work with all the information they need to analyse, decide and act in full knowledge of the facts.
Having the best information is useless if it cannot be easily read or understood. However, many companies are still using XL spreadsheets and continue to align columns and rows. No wonder that the information is lost or, even worse, that it is not correctly used because of a lack of governance.
Moreover, since we entered into the 21st century, more and more screens (of all sizes and shapes) have invaded our lives. It is so true that we are no longer accepting to see an application that does not make optimal use of the space provided by our latest i-whatever, our tablet or our 47-inches super screen. Operate this space is no longer a luxury, it is a must-have.
Thanks to Qlik technology which makes it possible to visualize the added-value information (regardless of the medium used), our experts provide our customers with dashboards that not only answer all their questions (and even more), but do it in a dynamic, elegant and unrestricted way. When you visualize well, you understand better and faster.
Having good information to understand what is happening is one thing, using this information to be able to anticipate the next action is another. Who hasn’t dreamed of being able to know in advance what his customer will order in the next 3 months, or what the market trend is rather bearish or bullish, or where the next offensive of the competition will come from ?
When descriptive statistics are reliable and sustainable, when the volume of data is sufficient, then mathematics can be used to calculate the propensity of an event to occur or to calculate what would be the right offer to make to guarantee a sale. They can also predict what would be the right product to suggest to increase sales. Predictive statistics have flourished in recent years and our experts now know how to produce them (as long as the data are suitable).
Even better : thanks to the constant evolution of computing power and the rise of the machine learning algorithms, designing Artificial Intelligence is becoming a reality applicable to all kinds of industries.
